The annual Mark Twain Days festival was a three-day event that honored one of Hartford's more famous residents through activities, exhibits, games and events that reflect either the era in which Samuel Clemens lived, or the eras about which he wrote. Venues included Bushnell Park, the Mark Twain House Museum and the Connecticut River.

Unfortunately, due to lack of funding, the event hasn't been held in some time.
